Theta Kappa Alpha
The Religion Honor Society
Students who complete the religion major with a 3.5 GPA in Religion and a 3.0 GPA overall may be inducted into the national Religious/Theological Study Honor Society, Theta Kappa Alpha.
These students wear special cords at graduation, may note on their cv that they have graduated with honors in Religion, and also are eligible for an array of opportunities within the Honor Society, including scholarships and awards, and submitting work in religion to be published in the national Theta Kappa Alpha journal.

Every other year the "Theta Kappa Alpha Achievement Award" is presented to the most outstanding senior in our graduating class. The award comes with a small cash prize and is determined by the faculty of the Religion Department
