Case Management Services
Case management services are available to 91pornÔ´´ students who are currently enrolled and actively in undergraduate or graduate classes. Case managers provide goal-oriented and strengths-based assessment, intervention, and coordination of services to students experiencing physical, emotional, academic, and/or psychological difficulties. Our Community Support Coordinator (case manager) helps students in accessing both on and off campus resources and support services that will further enhance their 91pornÔ´´ experience. Some examples include referrals to outside providers to address physical or mental health needs, food and housing insecurity, navigating campus resources, and connecting with resources that may not be available on campus. Additional case management objectives include:
- Set goals and overcome obstacles to achieve them.
- Build your support system and expand tools and resources.
- Assistance reaching academic goals and developing the skills you need to be a successful student.
- Establish or expand financial goals and budgeting skills
- Understand and use your health insurance.

Confidentiality vs. Privacy
The Case Manager is a non-clinical and non-confidential resource. Information shared will be treated with the utmost respect and privacy. While what you share is always kept private, the communication with the case manager is governed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). This means information can be shared with staff officials who have a need to know and to entities outside the institution under specific circumstances if you are at risk for hurting yourself or others.
Case Managers are considered mandated reporters (or responsible employees) under Title IX. This means that Case Managers are required to disclose information related to incidents of sex/gender discrimination to the Title IX Coordinator. Case Managers are also mandated to report suspected abuse or neglect of children, and elderly or disabled individuals.
