The U.S. News rankings compare bachelor's degree granting institutions from across the U.S. on 17 diverse measures of academic quality. The 2021 rankings include 223 National Liberal Arts Colleges. Fewer than half of the nation鈥檚 higher educational institutions鈥攁bout 1,400 colleges and universities鈥攁re ranked in any category by the publication.
According to the U.S. News & World Report website 鈥The data used in these rankings pertain to fall 2019 and earlier. Consequently, the COVID-19 pandemic could not impact the data schools submitted to U.S. News.鈥
